Important information for passengers on delayed/cancelled flights!
Please note that Wizz Air notifies affected passengers about any flight changes via WIZZ mobile application push, email or text messages, which go directly to the contact details of the reservation owner and are relevant for all passengers under the given booking. It is the reservation owner’s/agency’s responsibility to inform all other passengers within the booking. We strongly advise customers to book tickets directly through our website at wizzair.com or via the mobile application to ensure the notification reaches them well and in time!

Important information for passengers on delayed/cancelled flights
If you were a passenger on a flight that was delayed or cancelled, please scroll down to the bottom of this list, where you can find specific information on what to do and your options in such cases, and regarding any compensation you may be entitled to that is dependent upon the length of the flight delay, or the flight cancellation.

For flights UNDER 1500 km, following a 2-hour wait
Regardless of the reason for the delay, you are entitled to:
A refreshment/meal voucher of the value that is proportionate to your delay
Two free phone calls, telex, fax messages or emails, or reimbursement of the costs of those within a reasonable amount
For flights OVER 1500 km and following a 3-hour wait
Regardless the reason for your delay, you are entitled to:
A refreshment/meal voucher of the value that is proportionate to your delay
Two free phone calls, telex, fax messages or emails, or reimbursement of the costs of those within a reasonable amount
For flights OVER 3500 km and following a 4-hour wait
Regardless the reason for your delay, you are entitled to:
A refreshment/meal voucher of the value that is proportionate to your delay
Two free phone calls, telex, fax messages or emails, or reimbursement of the costs of those within a reasonable amount
More than 5-hour wait
Regardless the reason for your delay, you are entitled to:
A refreshment/meal voucher of the value that is proportionate to your delay

If the departure of the flight is on the following day due to delay, you will receive: hotel accommodation, transportation from/to airport*

Cancel the reservation and get refund as WIZZ credits to your WIZZ account or to your original payment method

In case of cancellation
Choose one of the following options:
Rebook your flight free of charge via email or through our Ticketing desk, Call Centre
Cancel the reservation and get refund as WIZZ credits to your WIZZ account or to your original payment method
You are also entitled to:
If applicable, when the departure of the new re-booked flight is on the following date, you will receive complimentary hotel accommodation and ground transportation to/from the hotel, or reimbursement of those costs within a reasonable amount.
